Materials
2 sheets A4 Card approx 250gsm
1 sheet Gentle Gloss Photo Paper
1 sheet A4 JS gold mirri card
Approx 15cms x 15cms Lemon and Green card
Sticky Stuff - I used double sided tape and Pinflair Glue Gel
Gems or Stickles to decorate flowers
Blue Promarker pen
JS Times Gone By CD
Optional - Die Cutting Machine and CREAlies dies, CL CS 11(foliage) and CL CF 09(flowers)
Optional - Martha Stewart Double Loop Punch around the Page Set
(If you are using Martha Stewart Punches, please check your card is not too thick for the punches)
Step One
Cut a piece of card 29.9cms x 14.8cms. Landscape orientation score in half vertically.
Score the right-hand side in half diagonally, starting in the top right-hand corner and scoring towards the bottom of the centre score line. (See diagonal score line in picture)
Optional - Front of the Card - Using the Martha Stewart Double Loop corner punch, punch the bottom right-hand corner of the card. Using the straight punch, punch along the bottom and side edges stopping before reaching the centre score line and the top corner (See picture).
Apply double sided tape to the bottom triangle on the front of the card. (Shown in pink, in picture)
Step Two
Using the JS "Times Gone By" CD, print out a rectangular image measuring approx 9.5cms x 11.5cms.
Mount the image onto Gold mirri card leaving a narrow border. (See see picture).
Mount the topper onto a piece of card. I used a Promarker pen to colour a border round a piece of white card, before mounting the topper.
Step Three
Mountain fold the red score lines. Open the front diagonal score line flat.
Line the topper up with the punched edge on the front of the card and stick to the bottom triangular section (below the diagonal score line). (See picture).
Step Four
Refold the diagonal score line and position where the flowers need to be located to hold the topper upright.
Step Five
Using the CREAlies dies cut two sets of lemon flowers and one set of blue (I coloured the card blue using a Promarker).
Build the flowers. Using the three smallest flowers in the set, shape them before sticking together using Pinflair Glue Gel. Decorate the flower centres using Stickles, or embellishments, and add foliage cut using a CREAlies die.
If you do not have any CREAlies dies, Prima flowers are an alternative.
Attach two lemon flowers to the bottom right-hand corner of the base of the card and a blue flower to the top right-hand corner.
This card will fit in a 16cms x 16cms Envelope.
