Classic Calla Lily Corners by Sandra Miles

I love using these corners with the larger toppers or with photographs on cards - they just look gorgeous

Level: Intermediate to advanced

Ingredients (makes both large and small corners)
2 x packs Calla Lily BN0093
2 x packets green ivy BN0089
2 x packets mini yellow daffodils BN0106
2 x lime mini rosebud bunches
15mm cream sheer ribbon
Silver Florist Wire
Green Florist Tape

Step One

Take one long piece of ivy and lay on a calla lily, daffodil and rosebud as shown wire with a little silver wire just to secure it.

Step Two

Insert some calla lilies to the left and right of the spray and secure with wire

Add the central daffodil and a little rosebud on either side and secure with more wire.

Step Three

Place a second piece of ivy at right angles to the rest of the bunch and holding at the point where you have been wiring

Step Four

Bend the rest of the stem down to meet the other stems

Step Five

Repeat the pattern of the first spray onto this new piece of the corner

Step Six

Now bend all the wires down so they are held together - wiring with a few twists as you go if you need to hold them in place.

Using the same method add in the daffodil and rosebuds as required

Step Seven

Take your pre-made ribbon bow place over the point where the wire has been wrapped around the stems and wire into position (or glue if you've got bored with wiring)

(Instructions for tying a bow click here)

Step Eight

Cut a piece of ivy in half and add that behind the bow, wiring into position

Step Nine

Fill in around the bow with any of the flowers you want to use and wire firmly.

Trim the stems and if you want to tidy it all then some green florist tape makes it all look much neater.

Completed Corner

The smaller corner is made in the same way using shorter lengths of ivy, a smaller bow and less flowers.
