Materials

2 A4 Sheets JS Stardream Card - I used Citrine. (This card needs a good weight of cardstock to support the toppers)
1 Sheet 160 gsm thin card to create template.
2 A4 sheets 160gsm thin card (optional to create fancy border)
1 Sheet A4 JS Gold Mirri card
1 Sheet A4 JS Onyx Stardream Card
2 Sheets JS Gentle Gloss Photo Paper
JS/Giordano Puppies and Kittens CD
Sticky Stuff - I used Double Sided Tape and PVA glue

Optional
Martha Stewart Double Edge Punch - Doily Lace
Small Single Hole Punch
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder - Swiss Dot
Nestabilities - Classic Scallop Oval Large

NB. This card is double sided and can be displayed four different ways

Step One

Using 160gsm card cut a piece of card 22cms x 20cms and measure and mark as per picture. This is optional and you may prefer to mark and measure directly onto the two pieces of Stardream card.

Cut the green lines and cut away the "pink" highlighted sections. (See picture).

Do not fold the score lines yet.

Step Two

Apply double sided tape to the front of one of the 2.6cms side panels (frame) of Stardream card. (See picture).

Step Three

Align the 2.6cms side frame of the second piece of card on top of the first piece (with double sided tape) and join the two pieces together. (See picture).

Step Four

Fold the score lines to create the double swivel. (See picture).

Step Five

Using the JS Puppies and Kittens CD print out two toppers - approx 13.8cms x 10.5cms. I used two toppers from the Portraits Section on the CD. It explains on the CD how to capture an image/topper and paste into a Word Processing programme. Both toppers should fit on 1 sheet of A4 Gentle Gloss Photo Paper.

Mount the toppers on a piece of JS Gold Mirri Card. The mounted topper should measure approx 11.cms x 14.3cms. Fix to the front of the swivel sections of the card. (See Main Picture).

Using a sheet of JS Gentle Gloss Photo Paper, capture and print out two sentiment boxes. I chose two oval sentiments from the middle page in the Sentiments Section. The CD has an interactive facility which allows you to change the font/text size/colour. (How to, is explained on the CD). You can vary the size, colour and font within a sentiment, as with, "To my Special Friend". Mount the sentiment onto a piece of Onyx Stardream card. Optional - use the oval scalloped Nestabilities to create the mount (See B).

Cut two pieces of JS Gold Mirri Card 10cms x 13cms. Optional - emboss using the Cuttlebug Swiss Dot embossing folder. Mount the sentiment on the Mirri Card. Cut two pieces of Onyx Stardream Card 11cms x 14cms and mount the sentiment/mirri card. (See A).

Step Six

Fix the sentiments to the reverse of the swivel sections. (See picture).

Step Seven

Optional - using 160gsm thin card print out two backing sheets to trim the side panels/frame of the card. If you trim the back and the front of the card, the card will be double sided.

I printed out two backing sheets from Page 1 of the Quilts Section (bottom right image) which matched the sentiment. Using the Martha Stewart Double Edged Doily Lace punch I cut out sufficient strips to cover both side of the card. I shaped the corner of the edge using a single hole punch and scissors. (See A).

Fig. B shows the strip when attached to the card.

Finished Card

This shows one of the alternative ways the card can be displayed.

This card will fit in a C4 size envelope.
