Materials

1 A4 Sheet JS Stardream card - I used Onyx.
1 A4 Sheet JS "Gentle Gloss Paper".
1 A4 Sheet JS Black Mirri Card.
1 A4 Sheet JS Gold Mirri Card.
1 A4 Sheet "approx 250gsm smooth card" for mounting the topper.

Optional - 1 A4 Sheet of approx 120gsm paper for insert.

Sticky Stuff - I used Double Sided Tape.
Joanna Sheen's Nostalgia Collection CD Rom.
Square Nestability die of your choice.

Optional - Fantasy Flowers

CREAlies Cutting Dies - CL CF 05: CL CS 09: CL CS 02.
Off cuts of Black Mirri Card.
Off cuts of Red Mirri Card.
Sticky Stuff - I used Quickie glue pen and Pinflair Glue Gel.
Red and black Promarkers.
Bling or Glitter Glue to decorate flower centres.

Step One

Using a sheet of Onyx Stardream card, measure, mark, and score, and cut as shown.

Step Two

Fold the score lines.

Step Three

Using the Nostalgia CD print out one of the largest toppers showing the French street scene, and one of the smallest toppers.

Mount the largest topper onto two layers of approx 250gsm smooth card and trim to the same size as the topper. This will add definition when the topper is mounted onto the mat.

Mount the largest topper onto a layer of black mirri card and a layer of gold mirri card. When mounted, the topper should measure 22cms x 9.5cms.

Using a square Nestability die (approx 6cms square) cut out a mat in gold mirri card. Cut out a second smaller mat using black mirri card and mount one of the smallest toppers onto the Nestability layers.

Fix the largest topper to the front of the card and the small Nestability topper to the front of the rear side-step.

Optional - add an insert.

Step Four

Make the Fantasy Flowers.

Using black mirri card and CREAlies die CL CS 09 die, cut a set of flower shapes. Colour the reverse of the flower shapes using red and black Promarkers.

Using red mirri card and CREAlies dies CL CS 02, cut two flourishes reversing the card to get two mirror images.

Using red and black mirri card and CREAlies dies CL CF 05, cut a fantasy flower. Assemble using Pinflair glue gel and attach in front of the Nestability topper.

Using a Quickie glue pen join the two flourishes together. Fix the flourish to the front of the card so the top curl of the flourish over sails the top of the step.

Using an embossing ball tool, work in a circular motion round the flower shapes to form a "cup". Fix the flower shapes to the flourish using Pinflair glue gel and decorate the centre of the flowers with either Bling jewels or red glitter glue. Add a couple of leaves to enhance the flourish.

Step Five

If you do not have an envelope to fit this card, a C4 envelope can be cut down to fit.
