Materials

2 A4 Sheets JS Stardream Card - I used Citrine.
1 A4 Sheet JS Gold Mirri Card.
1 A 4 Sheet JS Gentle Gloss Photo Paper.
Straight Fine Line Peel-offs - I used DD6573, Art Deco Frames.
1 A4 sheet of copy paper 100/120gsm for insert.
Peel-off Sentiment.
Sticky Stuff - I used Double Sided Tape, Red Liner Tape, Foam Pads, Quickie Glue Pen and Pinflair Glue Gel.
JS Patience Strong CD Set, Volume 1.

Optional: Martha Stewart Punch around The Page punches - I used the Double Loops set. Some punches won't punch thicker card. Please check your punches are suitable

Step One

For gatefold card - Cut a piece of A4 Stardream card 29.7cms x 15cms.

Landscape orientation mark points along the top and bottom edges edge 7.4cms from each corner. Score vertically between the points to create a gatefold card. Do not fold the score lines.

Optional - Punch the corners using a corner punch.

Step Two

For inner card - Cut a piece of Stardream card 14.5cms x 18.5cms.

Portrait orientation, score a horizontal line 2cms from the top edge. Do not fold.

Optional - Punch the bottom corners

Step Three

Outside of Gatefold card facing, starting approx 5mm from the side edges, score two lines 5mm apart on the three sides of the two opening sections of the gatefold.

Front of inner card facing, using the same positioning score two lines round three sides of the inner card front. Do not score the 2cms section at the top of the card. This will be folded and stuck to the inside of the gatefold.

You may find it easier to mark your scoreboard with a pencil and line each side of the card up to the pencil line before scoring.

Lay fine line gold peel-offs in the scoring grooves. The fine peel-offs will fit inside the grooves.

Step Four

Using Gentle Gloss photo paper, print out a sheet of toppers.

Mount the smaller "Guess Who" topper on gold mirri card. The topper when mounted should measure 14.5cms x 11.5cms.

Mount the two smallest toppers on gold mirri card. They should measure approximately 5.5cms x 7cms each when mounted.

Decoupage cut a section from the violets on the largest topper. Mount onto an oval cut from Stardream card, measuring approximately 7.5cms x 5.5cms. Add a sentiment.

Step Five

Fix the "Guess Who" topper to the front of the inner card.

Mountain fold the 2cms section at the top of the inner card and attach red liner tape. Stick down to the top edge of the inner section of the gatefold.

The inner card should overhang the bottom of the gatefold by approximately 1.5cms to allow the inner card to stand when the gatefold is opened.

Attach an insert approx 14.7cms x 14.9cms to the inside of the card, covering the 2cms wide join.

Step Six

Cut a piece of gold mirri card 3cms x 29.7cms. Using the Double Loop punch, line the mirri card up to the top left-hand corner of the punch and punch the strip.

To punch the other side of the strip, turn the mirri card face down and line it up to the top left-hand corner. Punch once, turn the card face up, match the loops and continue punching. Both rows of punched loops should now match.

Step Seven

Cut two lengths of the Double Loop strip and fix to the front "gates" of the card. I used a quickie glue pen.

Step Eight

Mount the small toppers on the inside of the "gates".

Fix the oval flower sentiment to the front of the card.

This card will fit loosely in a C5 envelope. It would present better in a box.
