2 A4 Sheets JS Stardream Card – I used Citrine.
1 A4 Sheet JS Gold Mirri Card.
1 A4 Sheet JS Gentle Gloss Photo Paper.
1 A4 Sheet 120gsm paper, for insert.
Sticky Stuff – I used, Double-sided tape, Red Liner tape and Pinflair Glue-gel.
JS Patience Strong Volume 1 CD – I used a topper from the Sally Mitchell collection on CD1.

There are a number of other toppers with verses suitable for New Year Cards.

Optional: Spellbinders Shapeabilities – I used the border from Parisian Accents.
 

Step One

Print out the topper onto JS Gentle Gloss Photo paper and mount onto gold mirri card.

The topper when mounted should measure 14cms x 18cms. If you are using a different topper, you may need to alter the measurements of the card.
 

Step Two

Card front – Cut a piece of Stardream card 14cms x 18cms.

Mount the topper on the Stardream card.
 

Step Three

Card base – Cut a piece of Stardream card 29.7cms x 14cms.

Measure, mark, score and fold as shown.
 

Step Four

Using double sided tape stick the folded 5.5cms section down onto the card.

Cut a piece of gold mirri card 14cms x 5.5cms and stick on top of the folded section to create a side panel.

Apply Red Liner tape to the front of the 2cms folded flange at the left of the card, as shown.
 

Step Five

Attach the card front to the 2cms flange at the left-hand side of the card base.

Step Six

Print out the matching insert using the A4 Landscape option. How to use the interactive facility to personalize the insert is explained on the CD.

Cut the insert in half and trim to fit the card. I overlapped the join where the card folds.

Optional – Decorate the side mirri panel. Using the Shapeabilities Parisian Accents border I cut two lengths in gold mirri card, trimmed to fit and mounted point to point, fixing with Pinflair glue gel applied with a cocktail stick.

This card will fit in a C5 envelope.
