Materials
1 Sheet A4 Onyx Stardream card
1 Sheet A4 Gold Mirri Silk card
1 Sheet JS Gentle Gloss photo paper
Sticky stuff (I used doubled sided tape and black foam pads)
JS Pamela West Collection Vol. 2 CD set
Optional - Martha Stewart, Pop-up Water Lily (large) punch; Lattice corner punch
Optional - 1 sheet A4 160gsm thin card for template
Step One
I always make a template and transfer the measurements to the cardstock using a fine embossing tool.
Using Onyx Stardream card landscape orientation, measure, mark and score and then cut two lines, B to E and D to G as shown in the picture.
Step Two
Optional - punch the opposite diagonal corners.
Mountain fold the red score lines and valley fold the blue score lines, easing the card into the steps shape. See Picture
Step Three
Using Gentle Gloss photo paper, capture and print out two of the second sized toppers. (The CD explains how to capture single images and paste them so different images can be printed on one sheet of A4 gentle gloss photo paper. If you don't have the Water Lily punch, there should also be space on the A4 sheet for using three of the smallest images, as an alternative. The smallest images fit onto each step).
Mount the toppers onto gold mirri card.
If you have the Water Lily punch, using gold mirri card punch three water lilies. Punching with the right side of the card upwards, the solid lily leaves are underneath (see top lily). Punching with the right side of the card downwards, the solid leaves are on the top (see bottom lily).
Centre and mount the toppers onto the two large side panels of the card and fix a water lily to the front of each step. I fixed the lilies using small black foam pads to give some depth.
