Step One
Using 160gsm thin card landscape orientation; starting at the left-hand side, measure and mark as shown by the red dots in the picture
The three panels can be any width as long as they add up to 21cms. I chose 8cms for my widest panel as this was the size of the topper when mounted onto mirri card.
Step Two
Transfer the markings from the template onto the Stardream card. I used a fine embossing tool to mark the card.
Score the red and blue lines, and cut the green lines.
Ease the card into shape, by mountain folding the red lines and valley folding the blue lines. It is easier if you part crease each fold line before folding the card in half.
Step Three
Using Gentle Gloss photo paper print out a topper and sentiment.
Using Gentle Gloss photo paper print out a butterfly backing sheet. (Optional for decoupaged butterflies).
Using 160gsm thin card print out a butterfly backing sheet and cut a piece of the backing sheet to fit the centre panel. Mount onto gold mirri card. If you want to decoupage butterflies cut extension butterfly wings and stick them to the card. These will overhang the card and support the butterflies.
Mount the topper and sentiment onto gold mirri card.
Step Four
Fix the topper onto the left-hand panel and the butterfly topper and sentiment onto the remaining panels. Decorate with two layers of decoupaged butterflies. I used the butterflies printed on the 160gsm thin card for the base layer, and the gentle gloss printed butterflies for the top layer.
This card folds down and will fit in a C5 envelope.
